Tromso, storicamente soprannominata la "Parigi del Nord", offre sia una natura spettacolare che una  cultura vivace. La città è circondata da montagne innevate e fiordi profondi che sono veramente spettacolari. Situata sull'isola di Tromsøya, è collegata alla terraferma da ponti panoramici ed è facilmente raggiungibile, offrendo un'atmosfera sospesa tra mare e monti. Alla  fine di uno di questi ponti  appare la Cattedrale Artica, la cattedrale protestante più a nord al mondo, grande esempio di architettura neogotica che è l’unica cattedrale ad essere stata costruita interamente in legno in Norvegia. Una esperienza autentica che permette di esplorare i dintorni di Tromsø in modo avventurosoe è quella di visitare i dintorni di Tromso con una slitta trainata da cani husky, o da renne, con una guida Sami. Questa città norvegese, al di sopra del circolo polare artico, si rivela culturalmente stimolante e vivace in qualsiasi periodo dell’anno. La ho visitata in inverno ed ho molto apprezzato l'atmosfera sia della città che delle magnifiche aurore!

Tromso, historically nicknamed the "Paris of the North," offers both spectacular nature and a vibrant culture. The city is surrounded by truly spectacular snow-capped mountains and deep fjords. Located on the island of Tromsøya, it is connected to the mainland by panoramic bridges and is easily accessible, offering an atmosphere suspended between sea and mountains. At the end of one of these bridges lies the Arctic Cathedral, the northernmost Protestant cathedral in the world, a magnificent example of neo-Gothic architecture and the only cathedral in Norway built entirely of wood. An authentic experience that allows you to explore the Tromsø area in an adventurous way is to tour the area on a sled pulled by huskies or reindeer, with a Sami guide. This Norwegian city, located above the Arctic Circle, is culturally stimulating and vibrant year-round. I visited in winter and really enjoyed the atmosphere of both the city and the magnificent auroras!
